Job Description:
Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing and Process Technician to join our team in the electrical/electronic manufacturing sector. In this hands-on role, you will operate precision equipment, perform fine assembly work, and ensure quality standards across our production processes. You'll work with fiber optics, opto-mechanical systems, and automated equipment to help us deliver innovative connectivity solutions. We're looking for someone who brings technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Job Requirements
  • Competent experience operating CNC and automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in electro-optical testing, measurement collection, and inspection procedures
  • Proven skills in precision assembly and micro-assembly techniques, particularly with fiber optics, cable assemblies, or fine-feature components
  • 2-4+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or process technician roles
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed work under quality specifications
  • Comfortable following SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
  • Experience with quality control processes and inspection protocols

What your background should look like
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, optical engineering or technology or a combination of engineering degree work and 1+ year(s) of associated work experience
  • High school diploma required; AA degree or equivalent preferred

We value candidates with experience in fiber optic assembly, cable termination, fusion splicing, or opto-mechanical systems. Familiarity with electro-optical test equipment and semi-automated production environments will help you succeed in this role. If you've worked as an Optical Assembly Technician, Fiber Optic Technician, or similar position in electronics or optical manufacturing, we encourage you to apply

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,300-$86,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
