Repligen is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the growing upstream filtration hardware business. Key responsibilities include Product Stewardship, Commercial Support, Product Development, Operations Support, and Business Analytics. Experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries and knowledge of bioprocessing industry is highly desirable. This role offers opportunities to advance within Business, Commercial, Customer Service and Operations functions.
This role is expected to model our Leadership Behaviors-Integrity & Compliance, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Team Empowerment, and Accountability & Results-in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial: Provide technical support to global Sales organization including development of product positioning, direct in-field support (pre and post-sale), product and technology selection, implementation at customer site; Ensure strong customer facing technical support, Sales/Training Collateral Development; training for Sales, Field Service, and Field Application teams; Engage directly with Marketing team to create content, campaigns and leads
  • Product Development: Support product development and commercialization for NPIs and product line extensions within the XCell portfolio; Act as a primary interface between Product, R&D and Marketing teams to manage new launches and line extensions, product upgrades, VOC coordination and alpha/beta testing support
  • Product Stewardship: New part configuration and part number Generation; Maintain Product Master Data Set including SAP to SFDC mapping, Product Literature updates; Lead internal product improvement projects as a Product or Project Lead; Generate and/or support generation of Technology and Product Collateral; Drive resolution of customer inquiries and complaints with required internal functions; Drive Quality Investigations with QA; Manage product life cycle activities
  • Operations: Generate forecasts to ensure accurate demand planning and product build; Active representation in Demand, Supply and Operational Planning; Support Product Assembly Workflow Optimization; Ensure correct, on-time product delivery through collaboration with Customer Service
  • Business Support: Conduct business analyses for products/product lines to support business planning, generate actionable insights to identify trends within the upstream market segments; Ability to run excel models with revenue/pricing/margin analysis desirable

Qualifications

  • BS degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline
  • 7-10 years' experience in Product Management, Business Management or Sales, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries
  • Knowledge of bioprocessing industry; Experience in Upstream Cell Culture and/or Intensification operations and with bioprocess equipment highly desired
  • Experience in managing hardware portfolio with integrated software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills required
  • Capable of working alongside senior management
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial trusting relationships with internal partners, customers, and suppliers; Ability to train a group of individuals on technical subjects
  • Willing to travel globally (up to 20%)
  • Experience with bioreactor operations; Previous experience in commercial product management, sales and marketing or business management

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $124,600 - 150,000.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits information will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
