Job description

Client Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary

The Client Service Representative handles inbound/outbound calls for clients and service providers, and accurately notates job details. Must have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Representative will be responsible for dispatching jobs, obtaining approvals, answering account questions, and resolving issues via phone & email.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operate all call center equipment and peripheral equipment.
  • Respond quickly and precisely to incoming inbound calls.
  • Effectively communicate with fellow operators and supervisors on any potential problems with accounts.
  • Dispatch jobs.
  • Establish and maintain trust-based relationship with clients and service providers.
  • Provide orientation and training as needed for new service providers.
  • Source new service providers.
  • Follow up with service providers for ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) and job details.
  • Take accurate job notes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Call Center or Customer Service experience preferred
  • Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Attention to detail with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to handle high inbound and outbound call volume
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong record of contributing to a team environment
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Regular and reliable attendance
