Job Description
Client Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support its Enterprise Resources (Purchasing) function. This role is responsible for analyzing enterprise spend, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, and contributing to the ongoing transformation of procurement practices, systems, and supplier engagement models.
The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, market intelligence, and sourcing methodologies to drive cost optimization, improve supplier performance, and enhance overall procurement efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct enterprise-wide spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and establish category baselines
Develop and maintain total cost of ownership (TCO) models and support category strategy development
Perform market analysis to assess suppliers, pricing structures, cost drivers, and industry trends
Support strategic sourcing activities, including RFI/RFP development, supplier evaluation, and negotiation preparation
Develop and manage supplier performance metrics, including KPIs and scorecards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business requirements, procurement workflows, and sourcing opportunities
Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers, new market entrants, and substitution opportunities
Support the design and documentation of current-state and future-state procurement processes
Maintain procurement data and reporting within SAP and related systems
Participate in and support contract negotiations ($1M–$10M range) with a focus on cost efficiency and value realization
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, category management, or data analytics
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including:
SAP / Ariba
Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
SQL, Python, or Alteryx
Demonstrated experience in:
Spend analysis and reporting
Market and supplier analysis
Procurement and sourcing support
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline
Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred
Experience within enterprise procurement or large-scale supply chain environments
