Responsibilities:
1.Lead the ideation ofbig food ideas and ways-in to stand out in the marketplace. Create,defineand refine short and long-term menu strategies via innovation,renovationand deletionsin order tomeet and exceed brand and businessobjectives.
2.Partner with the Culinary team tocreate,develop,optimizeandqualifynew coremenuand limited timeproducts. Partner withcross-functional teams such as Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, Training, Insights, and Marketingin the development,qualificationand launch process.
3.Evaluate,test,and launchproducts- evaluatingresults and developingrecommendations on path forward forbrand and franchiseealignment
4. Partner withthe ConsumerInsightsand Brand Analytics teamsto gather information to understand current customer and growth target needs, market trends, competitive landscape, product screener results,positioningand product testingto develop recommendations based on prioritized areas of focus
5. Partner with cross-functional teams, includingBrand Experience andCommercial Group, on pricing, promotion,calendar needs,and positioning recommendations across channels
6.Analyze ongoing performance of thecoremenuacross channels (at the restaurant and in digital channels) toidentifyopportunities tooptimize
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing,Managementor another related field.
10 years working inmenu strategy for multi-unit foodservice chain(s)
Ability to think strategicallyto inform and inspirebig ideas
Innate curiosityto derive consumer and business insights
Possessstrong business acumen and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially the ability to explain difficult concepts and insights in applicable business terms. Strong ability to summarize insights into PowerPoint presentations in clear and understandable calls to action.
Ability to collaborate and motivate across the operations,supply chain,field,and marketing teams.
Self-starter with the ability to project manage and handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet all desired deadlines.
Strong leadership, sales support, projectmanagementand training skills.
Understanding ofhow totakeproducts or programs through adevelopment and testingprocess.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to listen and translate details attentively.
