Position Summary
The Senior Operations Manager leads the daily operation of an end-to-end Distribution Center while creating an environment where associates thrive, customers are served with excellence, and operational goals are consistently achieved.
This leader provides strategic direction, coaching, and talent development for Distribution Center leadership while driving continuous improvement, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
Lead People & Develop Talent
  • Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers, Supervisors, and approximately 650-750 associates (1,200-1,400 during Peak).
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, engagement, recognition, and career development.
  • Drive succession planning and talent acceleration across all levels.
  • Foster an environment where every associate feels respected, included, and encouraged to contribute.
  • Lead with empathy while providing timely coaching, feedback, and accountability.

Drive Operational Excellence
  • Provide strategic oversight for daily end-to-end Distribution Center operations across multiple customers and shifts.
  • Deliver productivity, quality, safety, service, and financial objectives.
  • Optimize workforce planning and labor management.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through Lean methodologies and operational best practices.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems and performance metrics to improve business results.
  • Maintain a strong focus on compliance, regulatory standards, and operational controls.

Partner Across the Enterprise
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Brand and Supply Chain partners by anticipating business needs and delivering operational solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships with Merchandising, Stores, Digital, Replenishment, Transportation, Vendors, and other cross-functional organizations.
  • Translate enterprise strategies into executable operational plans.
  • Influence senior leaders to achieve Supply Chain excellence from factory to customer.

Lead Through Change
  • Champion organizational change while minimizing associate disruption.
  • Communicate effectively and build alignment across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Foster innovation by encouraging new ideas, challenging existing processes, and continuously improving how work gets done.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of progressive operations leadership experience in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, multi-level organizations.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and lead through organizational change.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive culture aligned with the Victoria's Secret & Co. Purpose and Culture Code.
