Job description

The Hiring Specialist is a contract role supporting the Distribution Center Talent Acquisition Team. In this role you will be responsible for the complete Employment Center experience, from reviewing applicants to completing offers....
In this on-site position, candidates must be available for work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (overtime and Saturday hours as needed). We have 2 On-Site Employment Centers, located at Easton and E. Broad St. in Reynoldsburg. Candidates need to be flexible to work at either location; specialists will be scheduled for shifts at each location.
Your Impact
• Review all seasonal candidate applications.
• Pre-screen and schedule qualified candidates for on-site interviews.
• Share company and job-related information to inform candidates of the nature and requirements of the positions.
• Ensure ample candidates are scheduled to meet daily hiring goals.
• Select or reject candidates by following predetermined interview criteria.
• Create and process offers of employment to qualified candidates.
• Support the front desk and perform administrative duties like answering phone calls, following up on emails, texts and voicemails.
Your Experience
• Strong customer service, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Shows self-motivation, a sense of urgency, and a strong sense of initiative to make independent decisions in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong technical skills including the use of internet-based programs, windows and office-based software.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, and Excel).
• Previous experience with Candidate Relationship Management programs, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other technical experience preferred.
• Fast-paced, volume hiring experience is a plus.
• Broad understanding of distribution center positions is a plus.
• Have knowledge and adhere to all applicable employment laws in their activities.
• We will provide a company laptop and charger, other equipment like wired axillary headphones must be provided by you.
