Job description

The Account Executive (AE) is the leading force that fuels our growing customer relationships in the North American market. The AE is responsible for driving new and existing client business within assigned territory and customer base to meet or exceed sales quota. 

The AE will be responsible for uncovering whitespace opportunities, building relationships across all customer organizations, and educating key stakeholders within the customer base. Consistently grow their pipeline and close new services and technology contracts. The AE will need to collaborate with internal resources to identify solutions and meet customer needs. 

The ideal candidate is a goal driven and highly motivated self-starter with experience selling advanced technology solutions including Server, Hybrid Cloud, Networking and Storage, attached Managed Services as well as Professional and Infrastructure Services 

Candidates should be located in the Southeastern region of the U.S with preference to be Miami based

Responsibilities: 

  • Source new business for CompuCom by generating demand for everything we sell. From technology solutions, professional services, and our managed services. The seller is accountable for the business results including growth, margin, and profitability. 
  • Perform cost-benefit/needs analyses, create proposals/solutions (including SOW), etc. to meet the needs of existing and potential external customers (including defining new growth account plans and driving sales pursuits), and close sales. Achieve sales quotas within assigned area. 
  • Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with customers and our OEM partners. Design and deliver value-added sales presentations (i.e., brackets, 1-1s, power points, etc.) to key decision-makers, industry experts, etc. Acts as a liaison between the customer, company, and our partners to resolve issues and close sales. 
  • Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with internal key stakeholders/partners and internal resources (including Consulting, Marketing, Proposal Services, etc.). 
  • Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) including ensuring all data is complete/up to date/accurate. Ensure completion of order entry/invoicing/customer processes for all ongoing customer business. 
  • Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in information technology, or related field. 
  • 6+ years of related experience. 
  • Experience working with customer relationship management at multiple levels including VP/CIO. 
  • Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization including experience in overseeing multi-delivery. Industry Knowledge of IT solutions and OEM technologies. 
  • Excellent sales, account & delivery skills with relevant IT/Product categories. 
  • Experience preparing, writing, creating, and delivering value-add sales solution presentations and proposals. 
  • Ability to navigate digital tools including social media platforms. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • History of successfully selling to Fortune 1000 companies.  
  • Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) Life Cycle services including, service desk, dispatched services, large scale IT project solutions, Microsoft modern desktop, collaboration tools, with a strong understanding of how our OEM partners fit into our Compucom technologies and solutions. 

Wage Range:  The annual starting salary for this position is between $125,000- 165,000  annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

Other Compensation:  This position is also eligible for incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable Company plan.
