Controller
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 + bonus potential
Location: Northern VA

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple government contracting clients
- Manage and review month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Lead accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, and DCAA regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Oversee audits (financial, DCAA, incurred cost)
- Work directly with clients to deliver accounting support and insights
- Identify areas for improvement and help streamline processes
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of accounting experience in government contracting
- Strong hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and DCAA compliance
- Experience leading accounting functions and teams
- Ability to work in a client-facing environment supporting multiple entities
- Background in consulting, advisory, or public accounting environments preferred
- Experience working with multiple clients or business units preferred
