Property Manager

Location: Boston, MA
Salary Range:
$63,000 - $74,000

CFS is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to hire a Property Manager responsible for overseeing a portfolio of housing and shelter programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact between landlords, residents, program staff, and facilities teams to ensure properties are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong landlord and property management relationships.
  • Negotiate leases, renewals, and rent agreements for housing units.
  • Process recertifications and maintain housing compliance documentation.
  • Support inspections and ensure compliance with affordable housing and HUD requirements.
  • Partner with program staff to address resident concerns and lease compliance matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of property management experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of affordable or subsidized housing programs preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
