Our client, a leading organization in food manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project execution and technical development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer

What's the Job?

  • Lead the execution of capital projects, including developing scopes of work, user requirements, project plans, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Ensure all phases of the project delivery process, such as Front-End Engineering and Start-Up Management, are followed effectively.
  • Develop and manage project schedules to meet objectives, coordinating with engineering and construction teams.
  • Establish project practices and procedures related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
  • Communicate project status, outages, and potential risks to upper management, acting as the primary link between project teams and leadership.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or construction management
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of programming and controls is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
