    Boeing Global Services Quality Multi-Family Senior Manager

    Company:

    Boeing Global Services is seeking a Quality Multi-Family Senior ManagerThis position requires strong collaboration with other site functional leaders to drive integrated quality strategies and continuous improvement across the site. The role will require frequent and significant interface with government customer representatives and the ability to maintain a professional, collaborative, and positive relationship. Preferred candidates will have extensive experience working with regulatory agencies, particularly FAA and DCMA. Position is located in Jacksonville, FL

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Support BGS-G Jacksonville operations, with primary base in Jacksonville, FL.

    • Manage individual contributors and managers performing quality engineering and technical activities across all product lifecycle phases. Provide clear expectations, coaching, performance feedback, and career development for direct reports and mid-level managers.

    • Develop, deploy, and maintain site-level quality strategies and plans that support new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.

    • Align quality objectives to business goals and site priorities.

    • Establish, monitor, and drive quality KPIs and metrics,and use data to prioritize improvement efforts and demonstrate impact

    • Develop and maintain strategic and tactical partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, BDS & BGS business partners, peers, suppliers, and direct reports; act as the primary quality liaison for cross-functional and customer engagements.

    • Provide education, coaching, and accountability for the Quality Management System (QMS); lead training initiatives, QMS adoption, and culture of compliance.

    • Acquire, allocate, and manage resources to meet program requirements; provide technical quality management and direction for complex technical issues.

    • Lead continuous improvement (CI) and prevention-based corrective action programs using structured problem solving and CI methodologies. Sponsor and/or facilitate CI projects, remove barriers, and cascade improvements across the site.

    • Strong people leadership skills: coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and talent development.

    • Drive prevention-focused quality culture: promote risk identification and mitigation.

    • Assist and support executive leadership in the development and execution of process plans, procedures, and operational goals; lead change management for quality-related initiatives.

    • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and HR to execute statements of work and deliver on customer and program expectations; ensure quality requirements are integrated into contracts and program plans.

    • Maintain collaborative and positive relationships with government customer representatives and regulatory agencies; prepare for and lead regulatory and customer audits/inspections.

    • Manage talent pipeline, succession planning, and capability development for the quality organization; recruit, retain and develop high-performing teams.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site or cross-functional quality organizations and matrixed teams.

    • Experience setting and delivering against strategic objectives, balancing operational demands with improvement initiatives.

    • Experience managing through change and driving cultural transformation toward continuous improvement and prevention.

    • Strong communicator with customer-facing experience, including briefing executives and government representatives.

    • Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and audit/inspection processes (FAA, DCMA preferred).

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • 5+ years of experience with military or commercial positions in a Quality and/or Operations leadership position

    • 5+ years of experience in providing technical and performance oversight of aircraft maintenance or modifications, including briefing US Government Customers on status of performance.

    • 5+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

    • 5+years experience managing cross-functional teams

    • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 25% of the time

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Active U.S. Secret security clearance

    • Experience building relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies

    • Large scale project management experienceFAA Repair Station Part 145 knowledge and experience

    • Ability to work with 3rd party registrar (EASA, Intertek, NQA), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) customers
