Summary:
Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging and repair as required.
Responsibilities:
โข Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
โข Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
โข Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
โข Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
โข Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
โข May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
โข Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
โข Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit
โข Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
โข All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
โข Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
โข Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings
โข Perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions
โข Perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations
โข Perform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or finger prints and wipe down unit as needed
โข Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions
โข May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds
โข Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision
โข Mentor other co-workers in assembly activities

Compensation Range: $17.83 to $19.78USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
