What you will have an opportunity to do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Prepare and serve a full range of coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standards.

  • Lead by example in delivering warm, engaging, and efficient guest service for every interaction.
  • Supervise and support barista staff during shifts, providing real-time coaching and guidance.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new baristas, ensuring consistency in drink preparation and service standards.
  • Open and close the market as needed, including setup, breakdown, and checklist completion.
  • Monitor product levels throughout the shift and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all products in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and market area at all times.
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and assist team members with transaction issues as they arise.
  • Communicate any equipment issues, guest concerns, or team needs to the F and B Manager promptly.
  • Assist in tracking inventory and submitting supply requests to management.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards and ensure the team follows them consistently.

    What are we looking for?

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of barista experience, with at least one year in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, drink recipes, and coffee equipment operation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
    • Comfortable handling guest concerns with professionalism and confidence.
    • Basic math and cash handling skills.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping throughout the shift.
    • Ability to operate espresso machines and other market equipment safely.
    • Comfortable working in a small, enclosed market space with hot equipment and refrigeration units.
