Property Manager

Growing Residential Real Estate Management Company has an opening for a Full-Time Property Manger in our Boston office.

Experience with AppFolio Property Management Software preferred.

We are looking for a self-motivated, all around dependable and honest person with property management, subcontractor management and admin/accounting experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Respond to resident/owner requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
• Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
• Assist the maintenance department with inspecting buildings and apartments
• Coordinate tenant notifications, fire alarm testing, subcontractor notifications
• Work directly with subcontractors to obtain bids and work scheduling
• Enforce property and association rules and regulations
• Monthly financial reporting and review
• Accounts payable
• Liaison for condo associations
• Assist with the development of operating and capital budget
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills with Apple/Mac systems
• Previous experience in property management or other related fields preferred
• Knowledge of basic building systems
• Experience in dealing with vendors, obtaining bids and scheduling work
• Able to read and analyze financial reports
• Ability to build rapport with residents and vendors
• Knowledge of AppFolio Property Management Software - Helpful but not required
