Job Description
New dermatology practice in Land O’ Lakes is seeking a full-time CMA/CDT. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new practice and to help create a culture of patient-focused care in a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualified Candidates must:
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Enjoy learning new things
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Provide proof of education
- Have experience with electronic medical records (Preferably EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Scribing patient encounters into EMR
- Assisting physician during office visits and surgical procedures
- Communicating pathology/laboratory results to patients
- Returning patient calls
- Scheduling appointments via EMR
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space.
Dermatology experience is preferred, but not required.
