The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a schedule for the Shipping specialists and coordinating back up for each station. The shipping supervisor ensures that shipping is staffed per capacity and ensures team is trained in accurately shipping all ship methods. Contact truck carrier representatives to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Organize DHL/UPS/FedEx shipments outbound to distributors, end users, regional managers, etc. Enter shipping information, addresses, and shipping methods. Examine contents and compare with records, verify accuracy of outgoing shipments Organizing and preparing the skid(s) for UPS and or FedEx.
