The Children’s Home of Reading (CHOR) seeks Full-Time Youth Behavioral Specialists to provide Direct Care - 2nd Shift

Must have ability to work weekends - Full-Time staff will be placed in a permanent schedule with two consecutive weekdays off.

2nd Shift hours are 3 p.m. to 11p.m.

Youth Behavioral Specialists will provide Direct Care / work directly with adolescents (male and female) within our Residential Campus setting in Reading PA. The Children's Home of Reading offers a multi-disciplinary team approach, integrating counseling, education, recreation & life skills instruction, utilizing the Sanctuary Model of Care.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a human service related field and 1 year, direct care experience, OR High School diploma PLUS 12 semester credit hours in a human service field, and 2 years direct care experience required.

Additional Requirements: Must possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. Must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance as well as pass Physical & Drug Screen. Must possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
