Job Description:

You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

• Shifts: 40 hrs/week, Day/Evening, 8/10, M-F 11:30-23:00
• Work type: Traveling
• No. of position: 1
• Duration: 13 weeks 91 days; Guaranteed: 36 hours
• Pay rate: $53.25/ hour; $2,130/week

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent US nursing experience in Pediatric, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU).
• Current RN license in WI State.
• Traveler must have permanent address outside 75 mile radius of Madison
• Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
• Two current clinical references Physical (within 12 months)
• TB skin test (within 12 months)
• Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
• Respiratory Fit Test (within 12 months) Current
• Tdap/Flu vaccinations
• Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening
