Those who work for a public school online program may also need to obtain a state teachers license or credential. Classroom experience is also a plus. Financial positions typically require relevant certifications. For example, accountants are more competitive in the job market with the Certified Public Accountant credential. You must also be familiar with industry software – educational platforms, spreadsheets, bookkeeping systems, and other technology related to the position. Working from home means you need reliable internet and updated computer equipment to communicate with students, clients, and coworkers effectively.
