Many employers prefer candidates with a postgraduate degree, such as a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on signal integrity. Work experience may be acceptable in place of educational qualifications, but you do need a solid analytical background to identify design issues and develop solutions. As a signal integrity engineer, you also need a strong understanding of digital interfaces and electronic systems.
