You also help hire and train new writers and content developers.

To become a search engine optimization manager, you need to earn a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or a closely related field. In addition to educational qualifications, you need several years of experience working in content development and with SEO-related projects. Your responsibilities require you to have a deep understanding of how to drive internet traffic and improve website page rank and test content strategies. You need to remain abreast of new developments in the field. Essential skills include strong leadership and both verbal and written communication. Attention to detail is also an excellent quality to have, especially for performing keyword research.
