Remote student jobs are flexible, part-time jobs that students can perform online. These jobs are either entry-level positions that do not require a college degree or that focus on services that students already have the skills and abilities to provide. College students can work as virtual tutors in the subject in which they specialize. Students can also work as virtual assistants either in a general field such as business or in a field related to their area of study. Students can also pursue jobs that require little training, such as data entry or customer service jobs.

The qualifications you need as a student to obtain a remote job depend on the duties and responsibilities of the position. A tutor or other education position typically requires enrollment in a degree program or exceptional grades in the subject in which you provide tutoring services. Virtual assistants and remote research assistants likewise must study in the area in which they work, although customer service agents, general virtual assistants, and data entry specialists typically do not need a degree program enrollment to obtain a part-time virtual job. These positions do, however, require skills in communication and typing.
