What Are the Job Duties of a Printer Operator?
A printer operator’s principal duties and responsibilities are to oversee the production of digital printmaking, such as display signs, apparel, and other products made with a large format inkjet printer. You are responsible for programming the printer, reviewing all the graphics to ensure that they meet the client’s specifications, and performing all printing, such as dye sublimation production. You are also responsible for maintaining/servicing your equipment and testing the equipment periodically to ensure that the printed materials remain of the highest quality.
