As a part-time Oracle database administrator, you use Oracle software to manage and organize data. You oversee networks and ensure they remain secure and viewable only by authorized users. Your responsibilities include installing and maintaining the Oracle server, planning storage and backup procedures, and controlling database access. Your duties span maintaining and archiving data, ensuring adequate backup and recovery processes, and seeking technical assistance as necessary to ensure the database functions smoothly. To get a part-time job as an Oracle database administrator, you need a bachelor’s degree in an area such as computer science, information technology, information systems, or a similar field.
