Many entry-level front-end developers have an associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, programming, or a related field, but some choose to learn on their own through online courses or boot camps. The most important qualification an employer looks for in a candidate is proficiency in multiple programming languages. Practice developing websites and a variety of functions to demonstrate your skills and build a substantial portfolio. Develop an eye-catching design style. You should also be familiar with commonly used front-end programs and tools, including CSS/HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, and React.
