Job description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5s standards.
  • Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
  • Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste.
  • Assume active role in overall plant and facility related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
  • Perform housekeeping functions as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to work all three shifts as needed.
  • Must have a good attendance record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a basic understanding to follow instructions in English
  • Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment

  • Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment. Preference given to candidates with previous experience.

  • Agility: Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively and consistently, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shifts:
  • 1st shift 7:00am-3:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
  • 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am

*Must be able to work all shifts as assigned

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary for position: $22.66 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
