Job Purpose
As a Distribution Center Picker/Packer at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacture of advanced portable power solutions prepare shipments according to company quality and industrial standards. Maintain and organize shipping area on daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist to pack finished goods into unit package.
  • Responsible for picking and packing unit packages into master containers.
  • Print and verify label contents accuracy before applying to any container.
  • Stack master containers onto pallets, banding and shrink wrapping to finalize pallets.
  • Operate forklift and/or pallet jacks to move packed materials.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Input shipping information into Visual system or other carrier information systems, as required.
  • Verify all documentation accurately according to specific shipment requirement.
  • Report any damaged/missing products or shipping materials to the supervisor.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience as a Distribution Center Picker/Packer
  • Shipping experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
