Job Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for the full operational performance of a distribution center within a large, multi-site food distribution network. • Develop and hold accountable a team of warehouse managers, supervisors, and leads across all shifts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve order accuracy
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between the site and corporate supply chain leadership
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, BRC standards, and company quality policies
  • Analyze operational data and produce regular performance reports for senior leadership

  • Proficient in WMS systems and operational reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a site with 100+ employees
  • Background in Asian food distribution or ethnic food supply chain
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodology experience

Screening Questions:

  2. Describe your experience leading a distribution site through a period of significant growth or change. What was the challenge and how did you manage it?
  3. What WMS platforms have you worked with and how have you used operational data to drive performance improvements at your site?
