WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING WAREHOUSE/DELIVERY TEAM MEMBERS

We warehouse and deliver furniture for locally owned retail stores. Furniture Enterprises of Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Team Member. Responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and picking, merchandise. Preparing items for delivery, loading & driving trucks, and assisting customers with load outs.

Details:

  • $21.00 Per Hour to Start
  • Full Time โ€“ 2 Consecutive days off each week
  • PTO (136Hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Transferring Merchandise in the Warehouse โ€“ Shipping/Receiving
  • Assisting with customer pick-ups and delivery.
  • Operating Company Equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Operating Company Trucks in a in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Communicating with supervisors, and other team members in a professional manner.
  • Effectively following company policies and procedures and continually improving efficiencies.
  • Keeping work area clean & safe
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test prior to starting employment.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Hold a valid driver license, and a clean driving record.
  • Pass a DOT health screening.
  • Lift between 70-100 lbs. consecutively.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
  • Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment.
