Please Note: This position is a remote role that allows work from home but will require travel to our Voya office as business requires. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius from your assigned office. (Atlanta, GA)

Enhance the effectiveness of Voya Financial's Human Resources team by partnering with HRBP's to perform a wide variety of administrative and HR related duties in managing relationships with employees from various assigned client groups. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as an essential representative of the HR team and partner to Voya employees. The HR Coordinator role will also partner with assigned HRBPs on all human capital initiatives including diversity & inclusion, organization design, performance management, employee engagement, talent management and year-end processes (performance calibration, promotion roundtables, performance evaluation and compensation). The role will help support the human capital initiative(s) focused on the Voya Technology team.

II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the coordination of various projects, deadlines and deliverables for HRBPs/HR Leaders, including developing and monitoring schedules to ensure timely completion, as well as coordination of activities.
  • Gathers, analyzes and summarizes HR data for presentation to business leaders. Develops effective presentations of trends, etc.
  • Partner closely with the Voya HR Advisor team to track and report various human capital initiatives.
  • Monitors progress on projects and is responsible for ensuring HRBPs are on track for timely implementation of organization-wide initiatives.
  • Provides some administrative support to assigned group. This may include, but is not limited to, creating advanced PowerPoint presentations; creating complex spreadsheets; maintaining databases; creating high quality reports, and other documents
  • Assist in the administration of HR policies and programs such as performance management, compensation, and learning and development.
  • Partner with the HR team as the Atlanta site point of contact for the HR department by fostering appropriate traffic flow while ensuring customer needs are met. Distribute mail, prepare outgoing mail, order office supplies and handle other site related matters as requested for the HR department.
  • Assist HR team with special projects and programs as requested.


III. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; with 1-2 years supporting an HR or staffing function
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, on-line calendar products, and conferencing systems. Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Facilitative, consultative approach to business interactions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented
  • Strong project management skills, with proven experience
  • Strong team player and collaborative work style, with a focus on building effective working relationships with employees in the client groups, HR team members and colleagues across Voya Financial
  • Excellent organizational and process skills with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at one time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Ability to work on routine assignments independently while exercising good judgment and critical thinking in deciding when to take action or when to ask for direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information.
