Are you interested in joining a thriving team of fun and dynamic therapists? We are seeking experienced, licensed therapists to join our growing practice in Virginia Beach, VA. We are offering full-time and part-time therapist positions, in-person, remote within Virginia, or hybrid. Clinicians will provide individual and family therapy for various age ranges and populations.

Two positions: 12-15 hours; 15-30 hours

We offer a hybrid of in-person and virtual and will consider fully virtual therapists who are licensed in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site or virtual clinical counseling services to patients of Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
• Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness.
• Respond to patients' requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
• Communicate with a patient's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
• Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (within 48 hours). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
• Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness
• Conduct counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
• Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice independently in the state of VA (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, licensed psychologist)
• We will accept fully virtual therapists who are licensed in Virginia
• At least two years of clinical experience
• Culturally competent and open to working with a diverse population, including the LGBT community
• Credentialed with insurance is preferred but not required
• Experience with children, teens, and couples is preferred

Compensation

$50 - $70 hourly
