Salary Range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000 Depending on experience.

DESCRIPTION:
As a Cost Engineer at Tutor Perini, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Work with the Project Manager / Team for Input, Monitoring, and Implementation of the JDE Quantity Book
  • Work with the Project Team for drafting letters / notices for review in coordination with project day to day demands
  • Review all owner notices and properly documents and asses impacts for review with the project team
  • Development and management of all contract provisions with subcontractor terms and condition language
  • Maintain PCO Tracking and execution of all project change requests from inception to final execution
  • Manage subcontract COR process inclusive of all required cost / quantity evaluations, estimating, negotiations & preparation for review by Project Manager & Project Executive
  • Manage Subcontractor Payments and required documentation.
  • Manage owner change directive process inclusive of all required cost / quantity evaluations, estimating, negotiations & preparation for review by Project Manager & Project Executive
  • Claims Cost Report monthly
  • Cost Reporting (internal & external) for all Potential Change Orders (PCOs)

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or similar from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering, cost analysis, or financial management for construction infrastructure or building projects
  • Proficient in cost management software (Procore) and HCSS cost estimating tools and software, including Excel, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience working with heavy construction projects
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
