Job description

Our organization presents a remarkable opportunity for a Skilled Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to become part of a large, hospital-affiliated multispecialty practice located in Columbus, Ohio. A strong desire and capability to perform general neurosurgery are crucial. The ideal candidate will be a Board-Certified General Neurosurgeon with approximately 5 to 6 years of professional experience.

As one of the most extensive healthcare systems in central Ohio, we cater to over half a million patients annually, achieving outstanding outcomes and high patient satisfaction ratings. Our medical group operates as a division of the healthcare system, which includes three hospitals and more than 30 health centers. With a team of over 300 dedicated and high-performing physicians, we are committed to enhancing healthcare in our community.

We leverage cutting-edge facilities, innovative procedures, and clinical expertise to attract and retain the most talented and motivated physicians.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Comprehensive & Primary Stroke Centers, a Level II Trauma Center, and advanced technologies such as image-guided navigational surgery and intraoperative imaging.
  • Surgical base located at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
  • 6 days of on-call duty each month.
  • Specialized neuroscience units and dedicated staff.
  • An experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner team available 24/7.
  • A well-established group of 17 neurologists specializing in areas such as headaches, epilepsy, movement disorders, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders.
