We are seeking a motivated and dependable Utility Fill In Rover/Production Worker for our night shift operations within the sawmill. This position is designed as a versatile, fill-in role where the employee will rotate through various departments and tasks. The supervisor will evaluate performance and strengths to determine the best long-term placement within the mill.

THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rotate through multiple departments to support production needs

  • Fill in for operators and team members as needed

  • Perform general labor duties including stacking, sorting, cleanup, material handling, and equipment assistance

  • Assist with machine operation under supervision

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

  • Adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work night shift hours consistently

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple positions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial sawmill environment

  • Good attendance and reliability

  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

  • Exposure to dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
