Summary: The General Production Laborer is responsible for operating and maintaining the blast booth and equipment, performing material handling functions, and supporting general production and assembly operations as needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Assembly & General Production

  • Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools to assemble parts and components per written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Understand prints, process sheets, and related documentation
  • Assist with packing, crating, labeling, palletizing, stretch wrapping, and metal banding
  • Recognize and identify products and fabricated sheet metal components
  • Maintain compliance with Business Management System (BMS) requirements
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • General manufacturing experience
  • Basic to intermediate math, computer, and communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, blueprints, and process documentation
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manual, electric, and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices (e.g., tape measure)
  • Ability to recognize and identify products and materials

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and crouching
  • Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs
