Pay Rate: $120/Day; $130/Day for Coshocton retirees
About the Role
Dedicated School Staffing is seeking reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support schools when full-time teachers are absent. This role ensures continuity of learning by following established lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students' academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment
  • Provide clear instruction and support to students throughout the school day
  • Adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed
  • Take attendance and complete any required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators
  • Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other assigned duties

Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid substitute teaching license or higher teaching license (as required by state regulations)
  • Clean criminal background checks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
