Job Description

Agency Service Rep - 35 OPENINGS
Cincinnati, OH (Work From Home until Further Notice)
Start: 8/3/2020
Shifts: M-F 8-5, 9-6, 11:30-8 (Will be assigned after training based on candidate preference and business needs)

Contract Until End of Year (with potential extension and permanent placement)

  • Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling company products via telephone or written communication.
  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication.
  • Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life.
  • Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day. Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests. Assists in broker road shows.
  • Provides reports to brokers.
  • Works on special projects. Requires a high school diploma; 1 year of related customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Previous health insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • qualify leads from small businesses, verify, and pass along to brokers
  • Goal: 3 leads a day, but looking for a higher goal from contractors in Q4
  • need candidates with more sales background, personality to push and comfortable trying to close a qualified lead
  • need late shift candidates - if open to the late shift, that is ideal
  • Most Successful: longevity on resume, someone who wants to move up
  • Temp position, but has potential to become FTE for top candidates
  • Contract until EOY, but top 20-30 people on team are expected to be extended
  • Call center background nice, but not needed
