Junior Data Analyst

Must be located in Atlanta, GA

Long term opportunity | $35-$40 per hour (We are unable to partner with third parties at this time)

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Develop reports, and visualizations to both be included within our product suite as well as help internal execution & operations
  • Ability to create meaningful longitudinal and point in time dashboards across various projects along with time sensitive ad hoc analyses
  • Analyze extremely large data sets and identify meaningful insights and actionable steps
  • Verify the accuracy of data, documentation, processes, and identified insights
  • Identify and document sensor & system data flows
  • Support the implementation of data analysis tools supported by clear business requirements and industry best practices
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests to understand what's happening 'on the ground,' but through the lens of our sensor data
  • Identify and outline opportunities for improvement with data collection and structuring within our platform
Skills & Qualifications Minimum
  • 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst (or similar) role
  • Proficient with SQL and writing complex queries
  • Experience working with both relational & non-relational databases, including Postgres, BigQuery, and Firebase
  • Experience with statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS, or R
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
  • Experience with report and visualization development, especially Power BI
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Preferred
  • Experience with GCP cloud services: BigQuery, Firebase
  • Experience working with IoT sensors and their data sets
