Responsibilities

  • Review and validate annual data submissions from public transit agencies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Deliver technical assistance to industry stakeholders submitting both annual and monthly data reports.
  • Assist in training initiatives for stakeholders on data reporting systems, with occasional travel (up to three times per year) as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects, including the development of policy documentation, facilitation of webinars, performance data analysis, historical data reviews, and quality assurance of data products.
  • Participate in software testing efforts to support user interface enhancements and system improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, including data collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation
  • Passion for customer service and collaboration
  • Interest in the public transportation sector
  • Proficiency in developing presentations and writing reports
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred but not required: experience in data analysis/validation, finance or economics, or the public transportation industry
  • Preferred but not required: familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance
