Job Description Summary
The Sporting Clays Team/University Safety Graduate Assistant (GA) serves a dual role. For the Sporting Clays Team, the GA assists the Coach in all aspects of the team to include: coaching technical skills; scheduling; team bonding events; raising funds through sponsorships; supervision of practices, team events, and competitions including travel; responsibility for equipment, supplies, transportation, purchasing, and set-up and clean-up. The GA is responsible for being aware of student-athlete issues and concerns and addressing those/working with the Coach in addressing those. In addition, the GA is responsible for marketing, events for non-team members, recruitment events, and other duties as assigned. For University Safety, the GA will be responsible for assisting in supervising the Student Safety Team, serving as Safety representative at events, games, and programs, marketing, and occasional duties such as ID creation, door locks, Safe Rides, van fleet responsibilities, and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
  • Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution.
  • Full time enrollment in a Saint Leo University graduate degree program.
