On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Sharepoint Developer for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, OR.
Sharepoint Developer Job Details
Microsoft developer needed to re-build an internal budget request/response tool built on SharePoint/InfoPath, which interfaces with the corporate employee database and expense reports. This is tied to an employee database as well as a SQL server. The server connection was recently broken, causing other functions to break as well. We're looking for a designer or developer to A) familiarize themselves with the current tool, B) fix the broken functionality (e.g. customized reporting and budget allocation features, etc.) and C) propose additional solutions/capabilities to make the tool more dynamic and user-friendly.
Sharepoint Developer Mandatory Skills
This role requires someone who is capable of working independently to investigate and solve problems (as the sponsor is not from a technical background and not able provide much in the way of additional context).
3+ years' of relevant SharePoint experience
Experience with XML/XLST, Webparts/SharePoint Designer/CSS/HTML/JavaScript
Good customer facing skills
SharePoint 2013 and complex workflows expert
InfoPath and SQL
Microsoft Biz Intelligence reporting
Creative problem solving and application building experience required
Must have ability to collect requirements, analyze results, propose an optimal solution while articulating tradeoffs, and deploy the solution with detailed documentation.
Must be able to work autonomously.
Must have BS Degree in relevant/related field.
