Job Summary

We are seeking skilled BARTENDERS who have a passion for great food and wine served with care and consistency.Ideal candidates will naturally radiate warmth, and sincere hospitality.

Joining our team means being an important part of an amazing new restaurant opening, in an environment that allows you to develop both personally and professionally.

All bartenders will work barista shifts and bartender shifts. Must prepare all beverages that are served in the restaurant and bar. Responsible for guiding guests who are dining in the bar area through the menu, making recommendations as needed, ensuring guest receive the proper items and ensure tables are properly set.

Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:

  • Approach all guest interactions with genuine warmth and hospitality
  • Make all cocktails, coffees and other beverages according to proscribed recipes
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all food and beverage offerings
  • Write down guest order and enter into POS system
  • Provide guests with appropriate silverware and plate ware as determined by their order
  • Cash/credit card handling at the completion of each guests and at the end of service
  • Communicate with host about any preferences to note for future visits
  • Communicate to manager about any issues, be they guest, inter-staff, or operational related
  • Communicate with kitchen regarding any guest allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Perform side work as detailed in the bartender manual
  • Other duties as may be required


Required Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a fine dining/polished casual dining and/or high-volume restaurant, at least 1 year in a bartending position
  • 1 year barista experience preferred
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems; Agilysis experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills; Must have a service-oriented mindset and hospitable disposition
  • Professional, polished and punctual
  • Demonstrable intermediate wine/beer/spirits knowledge; Candidates must be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about food, wine and spirits
  • Knowledge of coffee service and execution is a plus
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English in an articulate and knowledgeable manner about the menu and dining experience
  • Must be willing to "pitch-in" and be a team player; Be able to communicate with team members in a professional manner
  • Must have strong work ethic and dedicated to the craft of being a student of the industry
  • Must be able and willing to Stand/walk for 8+ hours+ and lift 30 lbs
  • The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
  • Weekend and evening availability required
