Job Description

Our Practice is currently seeking an Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist for a Cardiac Anesthesia Group. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable billing and collection of payments for all payers an locations to meet and maintain company goals. Although position is a remote position, applicant must be willing to work from Ocala, FL office once a week.

Responsibilities (include but not Limited to):

Collect payments from payors and patients
Submit records for claims, appeals, denials to various medical insurance groups for patient anesthesia services
Frequent follow ups with insurance companies regarding status of claims
Update patient and client accounts based on payment or contact information
Follow up on Billed and Pending charges
Payment collections
Access records from hospital portals for insurance requirements and patient data
Communicate with patient to address billing questions and concerns.
