About the Opportunity:

Growing dental office in Murray Hill, Manhattan, NY is seeking an experienced NY State Certified Dental Assistant for a promising position with substantial growth opportunity.

The Office:

One dentist, one full time hygienist, 2 part time hygienist, 3 dental assistants, 4 operatories office geared for high quality care and exceptional customer service offering a wide range of services including dental implants, Invisalign, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Description:

The Certified dental assistant will be responsible for providing chair side dental care within the scope of the certified dental assitant duties including orthodontic treatment and assisting various tasks related to clinical dental duties, clinical set ups, maintaining equipment, ordering and organizing supplies, and assisting with other dental duties for the facility.

Hours:

  • Mondays: 7:30 am to 8:30 pm
  • Wednesdays: 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  • Thursday: 8:30 to 5:30 pm
  • Fridays: 7:30 am to 8:30 pm
  • 1 Saturdays a month: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chair side dental assisting
  • Great communication and patient interaction skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively work with others
  • Willingness to learn
  • Self motivate
  • Very good English proficiency
