Job description

Accountability:
The Aligner installs precision parts in the machine tool bed casting. Including units, ball screws, and linear guides.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Inspect and clean casting.
• Install precision parts on machined casting.
• Verify parallel of linear guides and ball screws.
• Install precision units on machine tool.
• Use precision instruments to check geometry of machine tool.
• Operate overhead crane to install heavy items.
• Operate walk behind fork truck to transport parts.
• Operate overhead crane to move machine tool to different locations in the facility.
Education/Certification:
• High school diploma.
• Some College or Trade School preferred.
Skills:
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience with power tools
• Previous Crane and walk behind fork truck training.
• Experience using precision instruments.
