Job description
Nightwing is seeking experienced Android Mobile Application Developers to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidates will bring strong low-level programming expertise, hands-on experience with the Android NDK, and a proven ability to work across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug Android mobile applications
- Work extensively with native code using the Android NDK
- Develop and integrate C/C++ libraries within Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions
- Troubleshoot performance, stability, and compatibility issues
- Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards
Required Qualifications
- Current TS/SCI with Poly Clearance
- Minimum three (3) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging applications using C and Python
- Demonstrated in-depth experience with the Android NDK
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and native development
- Experience working through the full software development lifecycle
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging applications using C++ or Java
- Experience optimizing native code for performance and memory usage on Android devices
- Familiarity with Android SDK, build systems, and debugging tools
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a contract-based environment
