Android Mobile Application Developer opportunity in Durham, NC. This is your chance to work in an environment where your contribution makes a difference.

Seeking an experienced, hands-on Android developer to join an innovative small Agile team with cutting edge technology.

  • Android Mobile app development experience
  • Relational databases and off-line data syncing patterns experience
  • Swift programming experience

Key Responsibilities: Mobile application software development, design and prototyping. Program daily in Swift / Android to develop consumer facing mobile apps. Establish design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application Write clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews. Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility Work in an Agile environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules Work closely with product and design teams to customize the app experience Analyze and optimize UI for efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

* 3+ years Mobile app development experience Swift programming experience 

* Experience integrating apps with RESTful services 

* Experience with an Agile team development environment

Desired skills: 

* Android programming experience

* Experience with relational databases and off-line data syncing patterns

* University degree in Computer Science or related field
