NexusTek's 300 employees span 35+ states to service our growing client base. We have physical offices in Denver, Irvine, and Boston.

Working hours

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern and rare after hour updates

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (afterhours and weekends)

Location requirements

Up to 100% travel throughout the Boston metro area to client sites.

Who you are:

Proactive and independent technical expert who performs a variety of tier I and tier II technical support responsibilities, requiring a thorough working knowledge of information technology and infrastructure administration. You are a skilled communicator on all levels. Your meticulous attention to detail is shown through your timekeeping, documentation, and execution of the technical work.

You know how to:

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and billable/utilization hours
• Work closely with project engineering, client services team, management team, and 3rd party vendors to resolve client's technology issues
• Respond and perform timely and accurate scheduled maintenance and service tasks as defined for individual clients
• Implement the NexusTek best practices and core values across our customer base

Technology working knowledge:

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving technical problems in a workstation and server environment
• Microsoft Windows Server (2012R2 - 2022)
• Microsoft Windows Desktop OS (10-11)
• Microsoft Exchange (2013 - 2019)
• Microsoft Hyper-V (2012R2-2022)
• Microsoft RDS (2012R2-2022)
• VMware ESXi 6.7 - 7.0
• Veeam Backup & Replication
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (XenApp and XenDesktop)
• Workstation/server hardware and software
• Peripheral devices including printers and scanners
• Network technology including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless configuration
• Cloud and virtualization-based technologies, and common client/server applications (e.g. 365, Azure)
• Datto backup and recovery
• MSP applications like ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue desirable
