Looking for a career shift? Trade your tools for a teaching role—without giving up your industry experience. NETTTS (New England Tractor Trailer Training School) is hiring experienced HVAC/R Technicians to become HVAC Instructors at our Haverhill, MA & Pawtucket, RI campuses. If you're ready for more stability, less physical strain, and the chance to help others launch their careers, this is your opportunity. No prior experience as a trainer or instructor is required. We’ll train you to teach!
- Earn $60,000 - $70,000 per year*
- Part-time with full-time benefits:
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Paid sick time, vacation, and holidays
- 401(k) with company match
- ~25 - 30 hours per week
- Evening: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Weekend: Friday 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Teach hands-on and classroom-based sessions in the HVAC/R Technician program
- Demonstrate tools, techniques, and procedures aligned with industry standards
- Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and track attendance
- Maintain equipment and support a safe, clean training space
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with fellow instructors
- No teaching experience required – we provide the training
- No ladders, no crawlspaces – teach in a professional, comfortable training environment
- Be home every night – no emergency service calls or on-call shifts
- Make a difference – guide students toward stable careers in the skilled trades
- At least 3 years of HVAC/R experience
- Pawtucket, RI HVAC/R Instructors require a RI Trade License
- Strong communication skills and a desire to mentor others
- Dependability, professionalism, and patience
- A genuine interest in helping students succeed in the trades

Our HVACR training program focuses on the skills needed to install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. From electrical systems to troubleshooting and EPA certification prep, students can get a well-rounded education for entry-level HVAC jobs. HVAC schooling is currently offered at our Massachusetts and Rhode Island campuses.
